The HYDRA Expansion Chuck is adapted to the machine spindle of the gear shaping machine by means of a screw connection and aligns itself via an over-determined centering cone. The components are clamped on a short diameter via a slotted intermediate sleeve and are placed on an exchangeable workpiece stop.
